Mary Ford

FORD, MARY ALICE (WHITELY), 77, of Louisville, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 27, 2014. She was a retired employee of Liberty National Bank and a member of Dover Chapel General Baptist Church for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Dallice Whitely; and a brother, Clifford Whitely. Mrs. Ford is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gerald T. "Pill" Ford; sons, Gerald W. "Jerry" Ford (Sandy), and Joseph G. "Joey" Ford; sisters, Wilma Cummings (Drexel), Laverne Wilson, Eva Farris (Lewis), Anna Keith, Brenda Ford (Butch) ; brother, Larry Whitely (Patricia); grandchildren, Jacob (Jenna), Amanda, Casey, Grant, Tyler, and Abigail; and great-grandchild, Avery Ford. Her service will be 12 Noon Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday until the service. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Shively Area Ministries.
