81, of Louisville, passed away on October 17, 2015.

She retired from CSX Railroad and was a member of Lake Dreamland Baptist Church.

Mary was born on July 6, 1934, in Adair County, Kentucky to the late Walter and Della Dial. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Polly Pyles, Maurice Dial, Jim Dial, and Brenda Swanson.

She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Paul Poe; children, Johnnie Brent Pendleton (Christine), Mike Pendleton (Sue), Phil Pendleton (Linda), Chris Pendleton (Amy); nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; siblings, Jerry Dial, and Alice Pyles (Bob); and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). A funeral service to honor the life of Mary will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
