Mary Ellen Zehnder Riney RINEY, MARY ELLEN ZEHNDER, 74, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Norton Hosparus Inpatient Healthcare Pavilion.
Mary retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Company and was a member of Teamsters Local Union #89. She was also a Catholic by faith.
Mary is preceded in death by sisters, brothers, and a grandson.
She is survived by her four children, Trudy Blevins-Paul (Fred), Arthur L. Koenig Jr., Carl Edward Koenig Sr. (Tammy) and Tammy Marie Lucas; sister, Margaret Jackson; former husband, Arthur L. Koenig Sr.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11a.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 1-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9-11 a.m. Thursday.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
