Mary Robinson

Mary C. Robinson Share E-mail Visit Guest Book ROBINSON, MARY C., 79, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 and joined Rob, her husband of 57 years, in Heaven. Her family was at her side at Oaklawn Nursing and Rehabilitation to comfort her.
She was a graduate of Shawnee High School. She was retired from Jefferson County Public Schools as a secretary/ clerk at Jeffersontown Technical School.
Mary was a charter member of Westport Road Baptist Church. She served her church in numerous ways for many years to further the kingdom of God. She also served as a member of the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Team, the Baptist Kentucky Changers and the Eastern Area Community Ministers. One of her great pleasures was aiding her friends in the church's genealogy club. She enjoyed searching their family lineage as well as her own. She also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hatters.
Left to cherish her memory are her three sons, Bob (Sandra), Mike (Wanda) and David (Tracy); and four grandchildren, Mark (Emily), Rebecca, Jonathan (Jennifer) and Matthew.
Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Westport Road Baptist Church, 9705 Westport Road, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 7410 Westport Road.
