ARBAUGH, NORA (WHITENACK) SHERROD, 85, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010 at her home.
She was a native of Mayo, KY in Mercer County. She was a member of Ralph Avenue Church of Christ and a retired supervisor of the check collection depart of the Federal Reserve Bank.
She was predeceased by her parents, Guy and Virgie Whitenack; her brother, Elmon and her first husband, M.O. "Red" Sherrod.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Arbaugh; her son, Steve Sherrod; her granddaughters, Brandy Nicolas and Jessie Sherrod; her grandson, Kyle Sherrod; great-grandchildren, Jalen, Madison "Maddie" and Kylee; also a special niece and caregiver, Vickie Lee.
Her funeral service will be noon Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.
