Carole A. Faith

Carole A. Faith, 76, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025. She was born on September 23, 1948, in New Albany, to the late Pearl Opal Chaffin and Edmond Faith Sr. A lifelong resident of New Albany, Carole was a proud graduate of New Albany High School and lived her life deeply rooted in the community she loved.

Carole was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She cherished her family and friends, and her kind spirit and generous heart touched many throughout her life. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for animals, particularly her loyal dog, Captain, who was a constant companion and source of joy. Carole was also a dedicated member of the American Legion Post 28 and the VFW Post 3281, where she formed lasting bonds with fellow veterans and community members.

In addition to her parents, Carole was preceded in death by her brother, Edmond Faith Jr., her sister, Margie Moore, and her beloved pets who brought her so much happiness over the years.

She is survived by her nephew, Jerry Wooten; nieces Teresa McCullough Hogue (Ricky) and Marilyn Rothwell (Lynn); great-nephews Shawn Wooten (Holly) and Jeremy Wooten (Amanda); as well as a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members and friends. Carole's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Mrs. Carole Faith will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. Entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West will follow the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Carol’s memory to the Floyd County Humane Society of Indiana, an organization that was dear to her heart.

Carol’s kindness, loyalty, and warmth will be greatly missed, but her spirit will remain in the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
