Harriett Louise Scheler

Harriett "Pat" Louise Scheler, 88, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025. Born on December 26, 1936, in Louisville to Herman and Harriett Rigsby, Pat was a lifelong resident of the city she loved.

Known affectionately by all as "Pat," she dedicated over 25 years to her work as a beloved hairdresser at Pat’s Beauty Shop. Her warm personality and kind spirit made her a favorite among her clients and community.

Pat deeply cherished her family and found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved playing golf and tennis in her spare time, always bringing her trademark enthusiasm to everything she did.

Pat is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Robert Scheler; her parents, Herman and Harriett Rigsby; and 5 siblings.

Left to cherish her memory, Pat is survived by her children, Pamela Crenshaw, Karen Mackin (Danny), Todd Crenshaw (Kim), and David Scheler; several grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Symphony at Valley Farms Retirement Home for their compassionate care and support.

A funeral service will be held for Pat Scheler at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to Hosparus Health in memory of Pat.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
