John J. Brady, 78, of Louisville, KY, passed away on August 26, 2024, in the company of his two daughters. Born and raised in Lebanon, KY, he was raised to have, and he stood on his strong faith and belief in God. He was a firm believer in speaking up and defending what is right. Mr. Brady was a veteran of the Vietnam War and took great pride in his military service. He was a master mechanic, an avid bowler, and a lifelong sports fan. He spent the majority of his life as a dedicated employee and the latter part of his life in retirement from health issues. His entire presence will be missed. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph A. & Mary E. (Tonge) Brady, and brother, James’s “Buffalo” Brady. Left behind to continue to share John’s rich legacy, love, and memories are his daughters, Lisa Brady (William) Thomas, and Tonya Brady. His brother, Joseph “Jess” (Patricia) Brady. John's biggest blessings were his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Britt’any (Robert) Marshall, Bryan (LaShaunda) Lusco, Bro’Kell Lusco, Cameron Ravens, Metteres Murrill, Domonique Thomas, Kendall Lanier, M’Kyla Lusco, Orlando Brown, Amari Lusco, and Prince Marshall. He is also leaving behind two nieces and a nephew, Karen Mudd, Donna Brady, and Aloyous "Al" (Rochelle) Brady, along with their children. Visitation will take place on September 7, 2024, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Funeral service will take place at 6:00 pm directly after visitation.
