John Lewis Marr

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Lewis Marr, who peacefully passed away on March 4, 2025, in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, at the age of 70.

Born on December 14, 1954, to David R. Marr Sr. and Nellie J. Marr, John grew up in Louisville, where he developed a love for his community, family, and the simple joys of life. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend, known for his kind spirit and his unwavering support of those he loved.

John is preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy Marr, and his parents, David and Nellie Marr.

Left to cherish his memory, John is survived by his brother, David Marr; 1 daughter, Melissa Marr; 2 granddaughters, Samantha Reynolds and Aubrey Marr.

A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date, where friends and family will gather to celebrate his life, his enduring spirit, and the memories that will live on forever in their hearts.
