Linda Sue (Pippin) Stearman, age 75, departed this world on June 25, 2025 - after a long battle with Parkinsons and entered into a much deserved rest. Born to Hassell and Lillian Pippin on April 16, 1950, she was the middle child of 6 siblings, survived by one beloved sister - Janet (Pippin) Wilson.
Linda leaves behind her loyal husband of 56 years, Kerry Oliver Stearman, her son, Kristopher Stearman and daughter, Karen (Stearman) Blankenship, son- in-law, Curtis Blankenship, and two grandchildren - Brandon and Jonathan Blankenship, as well as many cherished nephews, nieces, and friends.
Linda worked as a secretary in the accounting department for over 36 years with the Jefferson County Public Board of Education, alongside many good friends. She then retired to spend time with her husband and her grandchildren in her later years. Linda was a faithful member of First United Baptist Church of Christ, known as LongField - where she professed her salvation at the age of 12 and continued to attend until it was no longer achievable. Linda will be dearly missed by so many, but the love and charity she always showed will remain in our hearts.
A funeral service for Mrs. Linda Stearman will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky.
