Luzia Klara Wilson

Luzia Klara Wilson, 92, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Born on November 5, 1932, in Vienna, Austria, she was the daughter of Johann and Leopoldine Steger.

Luzia was a devoted mother and grandmother, whose family was the cornerstone of her life. She cherished the time spent with her loved ones, offering her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In addition to her love for family, Luzia enjoyed spending her free time shopping and gambling, activities that brought her joy and excitement. She had a lively spirit and a heart full of love, and her presence brightened every room she entered.

Luzia leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. She will always be remembered with affection and fondness by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to cross her path.

Luzia is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wilson; and her parents, Johann Josef Steger, and Leopoldine Gaborone Schinagl Steger.

Left to cherish her memory, Luzia is survived by her 2 children, Susan Bennett (David), and Donald Allen Wilson; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Roberts (Marissa), Melissa Marie Roberts (Brian), Lauren Mackenzie Bennett-Lopp (Emmanuel), Derek Anthony Wilson (Stephanie), Dylan Alan Wilson, and Michael Wilson (Katie) ; 9 great-grandchildren, Logan Wilson, Ean James Bennett-Lopp, Connor Roberts, Collin Roberts, Corbin Roberts, Jessah Marie Hill (Jake), Oliver Wilson, Lincoln Wilson and Aidan Wilson; 2 great-great grandchildren, Thea Jean Hill, and Henry Jacob Hill; and a host of extended family and close friends.
