Roger Dale Robinson

Roger Dale Robinson, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. Born on July 5, 1960, in Louisville, he was the beloved son of Lawrence and Mary Robinson.

Roger was a devoted family man whose love for his family knew no bounds. His generous spirit, kind heart, and warm personality made him a friend to all. Roger had a gift for conversation—he could light up a room with his humor, stories, and easygoing nature. His storytelling, often infused with laughter and vivid detail, will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of hearing them.

A passionate Civil War history buff, Roger found joy in learning about the past and sharing his knowledge with others. In his free time, he loved rooting for his favorite teams—the UofL Cardinals and the Cincinnati Reds—never missing a chance to cheer them on. He also enjoyed the thrill of a good poker game and the adventure of cruising, always eager for his next trip.

Roger’s presence brought joy and comfort to those around him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. His warmth, humor, and love will never be forgotten.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Roger is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Thompson; brother, Tommy; sister, Beverly; 2 nephews, Ian and Donny; and a niece, Deena.

Left to cherish his memory, Roger is survived by 7 siblings, Belinda, Larry, Karen, Gloria, Liz, Cindy, and Dale; numerous nieces/nephews including Van, Shawn, Scotty, Wayne, Neil, Lee, Sheree, Dawn, Maile, Cody, Jamie, Danette, Joy, Carlos, Michael and Brandon; numerous great nieces/nephews; 3 cousins, Sandy, Steve, and Junior; best friend, Joey; and a host of extended family and close friends.
