Sharon Ann Miller

Sharon Ann Miller, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on August 23, 2025, surrounded by love. Born on January 30, 1947, in Louisville to Donard and Pauline Davison, Sharon was a lifelong resident of the city she cherished.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Sharon will be remembered for her gentle spirit, warm heart, and deep compassion for all living creatures. Alongside her beloved husband, John, Sharon became affectionately known as one half of the neighborhood's "Doolittle" duo, caring not only for their pets but also for a small menagerie of wild animals, including squirrels, birds, and raccoons.

Sharon had a creative soul and spent countless hours expressing herself through arts and crafts, always perfecting her latest project with patience and care. While she enjoyed the comforts of home, she also had a love for history and adventure, especially when it came to traveling with John to Civil War reenactments across the country — a pastime they treasured together.

Those who knew Sharon will miss her quiet strength, her kindness, and the way she made people — and animals — feel safe and loved. Her legacy of love and care will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Sharon is preceded by her loving husband of 55 years, John W. Miller; parents, Donard Davison and Pauline Pruden Davison; and a brother, Donnie Davison.

Left to cherish her memory, Sharon is survived by her 2 sons, Todd Miller (Ronetta) and Mike Miller (Pam); 2 grandchildren, Cayla Reed and Axson Goodrich; many siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of extended family and close friends.

A memorial service for Mrs. Sharon Miller will be held at 6 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. A celebration of life gathering will start at 5 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
