Pamela Rose Taylor

Pamela Rose Taylor, 71, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on March 28, 1955, the beloved daughter of Robert and Ola Phillips.

Pam was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and caring spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her sweet personality and wonderful sense of humor brought warmth and laughter wherever she went.

Pam loved to travel, especially trips to the beautiful beaches of Florida, where she enjoyed soaking up the sunshine and sunbathing. She had a true love for life and enjoyed making every outing special. She loved jewelry, makeup, and dressing to the nines whenever she went anywhere. Her signature big red lipstick was part of her unmistakable style. Family members will fondly remember receiving cards from Pam adorned with a big red lipstick kiss—a simple but loving gesture that was uniquely hers.

She also enjoyed shopping at some of her favorite stores, including Macy’s and TJ Maxx. In her spare time, Pam loved playing Canasta and had a special fondness for collecting purses and shoes. Her beloved little dog, Ivy, was another treasured part of her life and brought her much happiness and companionship.

Pam lived her life with a generous heart, a playful spirit, and a love for the people and things that brought her joy. She leaves behind countless memories of laughter, kindness, beautiful lipstick kisses, travels, shopping trips, and the many ways she showed her love to those around her.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Though she is gone, the love, laughter, and memories she gave to others will remain forever in their hearts.

Rest in peace, Pam. Your beautiful red lipstick kiss will forever remain a treasured reminder of your love.

Pam is preceded in death by her sisters, Linda Griffin and Brenda Jones; nephew, Eric Philpot; stepson, Yhantzee Taylor; and her parents, Robert Norman Phillips and Ola Lindsey Phillips.

Left to cherish her memory, Pam is survived by her loving nieces, Melissa Carter and Hope Peppers; nephew, Larry Richardson; cousins, Angela Gramer and Sharron Diehl; great-nieces, Natasha Lance, Hannah Johnson, and Sarrah Nugent; best friend, Dale Thornton; many cousins who loved her dearly; and a host of extended family and close friends.

A memorial gathering for Ms. Pamela Rose Taylor will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM, on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville.
