Phillip McCutchen

McCUTCHEN, PHILLIP HUGHEL, 66, of Jacksonville, FL, died May 5, 2014. He was born in Kentucky to the late William Hughel "Mac" and Mary Agnes "Dolly" (Whistler) McCutchen. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 46 years Joan, two sons Stephen McCutchen of Freeport FL and Shawn McCutchen of Clermont, FL; granddaughter, Lacy Nicole McCutchen; stepgranddaughter Britney Nicole Smith; and brothers, C. Alan McCutchen of Aiken, SC and Timothy B. McCutchen of Dyersburg, TN. Phillip was retired from CSX Railroad where he worked for 39 1/2 years. He served his country during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. He was a loving father, doting grandfather, and wonderful husband. Visitation with the family will be Monday, 10 a.m.-noon at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with funeral service at noon. Burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Blanding Blvd Funeral Home in Jacksonville and Arch L. Heady Taylor Boulevard, Louisville.
