Raymond Ferris

Ferris, Raymond Elmer,92, of Louisville returned to his Heavenly Father on October 20, 2015. Mr. Ferris was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of Kenwood Church of Christ. Mr. Ferris was an evangelist for the Church of Christ working with many congregations in Tennessee, Virginia, Wisconsin and Illinois throughout his life. Among those that preceded him in death include his wife, Charlene Baker Ferris; parents, Elmer and Amelia Diestelkamp Ferris; and brother, Ervin Ferris. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Marilyn Ferris, Donna Manz (Alan) and Jim Ferris (Tammy); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Velva Breuer and Darlein Duncan.Funeral service will be conducted at 10 am on Friday, October 23, 2015 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway) with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
