Friend, Rebecca E. View/Sign Guest Book FRIEND, REBECCA E., 83, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008. She retired in 1980 as a supervisor in the premium department at Brown & Williamson and was a member of Watkins United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William V. Friend Sr. Survivors include two sons, Bill Friend (Marcy) and John Friend (Sandy); five sisters, Edith Moran (Harry), Wenonah Flaherty (Matt), Ruth Blakey, Phyllis Clark and Lynn Jensen; four granddaughters; five great-grandchildren and one on the way. Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Westport Road at Herr Lane. Burial will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 2-8p.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
