Rita Atwell

Rita Jo Atwell, 72, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021, in Louisville.  She was born on October 10, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Harlon and Catherine Atwell.   She is survived by her loving companion, Willian “Bill” Sames, sons, James (Michelle) and Michael Atwell, sisters, Sheila Atwell (Wayne), brothers, Tim (Sheila) and Sonny Atwell, grandchildren, Alexander, Noah, Oliver, Kennedy and Hayden.  She is preceded in death by her sister, Robin Atwell.
