PONTRICH, ROBERT E., 84, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a transportation rate clerk for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. and a World War II Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Shehan) Pontrich; son, Robert W. Pontrich; daughters, Shirley Neighbours (Paul) and Sherry Barnhart (Jim); and six grandchildren.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter the Apostle (St. Polycarp campus), 7718 Columbine Drive, with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road.
