Rose Marie Uebele

Rose Marie Uebele, 77, of Fairdale, sister of Frances Brummett, died Saturday, September 14, 2019 at her sister’s residence after a long illness.

Rose was born in Louisville May 18, 1942 the daughter of the late Marvin & Dorothy Childress Sturgeon. She had been a supervisor at Cardinal Aluminum and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fairdale. Rose had also been a square dancer and was a past member of the Lions Club.

Besides her sister she leaves to cherish her memory, nephew, Michael Brummett, nieces, Melissa Baxter and Chrystal Burton (Robert). Several great & great great nieces and nephews also survive, including Kaylee. And including Nathan, who always called her “Aunt Granny”.

A service celebrating Rose’s life will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be from 1:00 Tuesday until service time.
