Ruth Ann Bronger

Ruth “Ruthie” Ann Bronger, 75, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on May 1, 2026.

She was born on January 22, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, to John and Lenora Miles. Ruthie was known for her kind and friendly nature and had many cherished friends.

She enjoyed attending University of Louisville football games with her husband, Paul, and the two were proud season ticket holders. Ruthie also loved spending time grilling out at Ott’s Tavern, where she and Paul formed many lifelong friendships.

Ruthie will be remembered for her warmth, her love of community, and the joy she brought to those around her.

Ruthie is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bronger; parents, John K. Miles and Lenora M. Hoke Miles; brother, John Miles; and sister, Judy Miles.

Left to cherish her memory, Ruthie is survived by her son, Michael Young (Audrey); granddaughter, Hadley Young; brother, Vernon “Bucky” Miles (Sharon); and nephews, Brad, Todd, and Scott Miles.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky.
