She is survived by her husband, Sam Martin; ex-husband and friend, Frank Payne Sr.; daughter, Cynthia Bailey (Bill); stepdaughter, Claudia McKee (Roger); sons, Frank Payne Jr. (Sandra), Michael Payne (Renee) and Jeffrey Payne (Becky); sister, Barbara Cook; 16 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at J.B. Ratterman & Sons-Southwest, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hosparus.
