Terry Lee Harrington

Terry Lee Harrington, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on November 5 surrounded by the love of his family.

Terry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a man who valued family, enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, and left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

One of Terry’s greatest passions was golf. Whether he was spending time on the course, enjoying a beautiful day outdoors, or sharing stories about the game, golf brought him countless moments of happiness. It was more than just a hobby; it was something he truly loved.

Above all, Terry’s greatest legacy is the family he leaves behind. The love, memories, and special moments they shared will forever hold a place in their hearts.

Terry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Susie Harrington; his children, Scott Harrington (Cyndi), Troy Harrington, and Dawn Pate; and his cherished grandchildren, Elayne, Anna, Taylor, Tyler, Kylie, Spencer, and Harper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Mary Jane Harrington, and sister Shirley Shaffer.

While saying goodbye is never easy, Terry’s family will find comfort in the memories they created, the laughter they shared, and the love that will remain long after his passing.

His time here may come to an end, but the impact he made on the hearts of those who loved him will last forever.

And somewhere beyond the clouds, may the fairways always be green, the sun always shine, and every round of golf be his best one yet.

Terry will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

A funeral service for Mr. Terry Harrington will be held at 1 PM on Monday, November 9, 2026, at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service. Burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West will follow the funeral service.
