HURTGEN, THOMAS HENRY, 81, passed away Monday January 10, 2011.
Thomas was a veteran of the KY Air National Guard, Honorable Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Christ is King Baptist Church.
Thomas is preceded in death by his daughter, Phyllis Ann Moser; and brother, Archibald Hurtgen.
His loving wife Evelyn Smith Hurtgen survives him; as well as three daughters, Susan Elaine Hurtgen, Anne Kay Jones (Dennis) and Eileen Gay Eigelbach (Kevin); three sons, Jeffrey Louis Hurtgen (Mary), John Eric Hurtgen (Pam) and Thomas Matthew Hurtgen; 17 wonderful grandchildren; and three great grandchildren also survive Thomas.
A service celebrating the life of Thomas will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Hwy. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
