Thomas Wells

WELLS, THOMAS G. "JERRY," 67, passed away on November 28, 2013. He was a former employee of Whayne Supply Co., a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. and Emma (Hayes) Vessels; his siblings, Willie L. "Billy" Wells, Alice G. Henon, Anna M. "Annie" Lang, Catherine L. "Cathy" Blanford and Charles E. "Charlie" Vessels; and granddaughter, Melanie Wells. Survivors include his devoted wife of 49 years, Margaret (Thompson) "Peggy" Wells; sons, Thomas G. "Jerry" Wells, Jr. (Kathleen), Joseph Edward Wells, Micheal Lee Wells, Donald Anthony Wells, and Matthew Thomas Goesman; twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, James A. "Jimbo" Wells and Joseph L. "Joe" Vessels, Jr.; sisters, Madonna (Vessels) Wells and Georgia M. "Georgie" Brown; and his pet dogs, Miss M. and Callie. Funeral services will be noon Monday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday.
