Tonya Jean Warner

Tonya Jean Warner, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. She was born on December 1, 1943, in Hazard, Kentucky, to the late Kenneth and Vertie Pratt.

Tonya was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Family meant everything to her, and she most enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She was a woman without flash or frills—content to live life in her own way and to her own tune.

She found her greatest joy simply being herself, alongside her devoted husband, Don, and her beloved son, Kenneth. Tonya’s quiet strength, independence, and genuine nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Tonya is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Warner; brother, Willis Pratt; and her parents, Kenneth Pratt and Vertie Hall Pratt.

Left to cherish her memory, Tonya is survived by her son, Kenneth Warner; sister, Sharon Prince; sister-in-law, Patsy Pratt; nephew, David Pratt (Carol); and a niece, Paula Pratt.

A funeral service for Mrs. Tonya Warner will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026, inside the Fireside Chapel at Louisville Memorial Gardens West, 4400 Dixie Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. Burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens West will follow the funeral service.
