Verna Morris

MORRIS, VERNA M., 74, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009, at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home. She loved flowers and gardening was a great joy of her life. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, George W. Morris; four sons, Ronald W. Morris (Cathy), of Bloomfield, KY, Gary D. Morris (Judy), George A. "Tony" Morris (Alice) and James D. Morris; seven grandchildren, Allen, Scott, Ashley, Brian, Andrew, David and Michael; and a great grandchild who will be born in September. Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady Westport Road with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will precede the funeral service on Monday, 10 a.m. -2 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be given to the Kentucky Humane Society.
