69, passed away Sunday November 1, 2015 at the Rockford Manor Nursing & Rehab Center.
He was born in Louisville to James and Ruth (Cosby) Yates, who preceded him in death. He was a member of Dover Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister: Jamie Boyd and a brother: Dwight Yates (Brenda); three nephews: Bryan and Blake Turner and Aaron Yates, and a niece: Sherri Yates; his uncle: Owen Lee and two aunts: Christine and Mary Ann.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Visitation will be Tuesday 2:00 - 8 p.
